LocalMask removes backgrounds from photos directly on your Windows PC. The app uses neural networks to process images locally, ensuring your data never leaves your device. The base application is free to download, but full functionality requires an in-app purchase. You can choose between a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock to access all features. Pro purchase unlocks: high-fidelity PNG export. This app installs at no charge and includes 5 free uses per day. When the daily limit is reached, further use requires the in-app purchase: a Pro subscription (EUR 2.99/month, renews automatically until cancelled, cancel anytime in Microsoft Store settings) or a one-time Lifetime purchase; either one removes the daily limit permanently. There is no trial period, and nothing is charged automatically.

How the subscription works

Auto-renews monthly via Apple's standard subscription system.
Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, under its own policy: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play and the Microsoft Store through your account with them.
No third-party tracking or analytics SDKs inside the app.

What we don't collect

Your contact list, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
Any content you enter into the app (notes, logs, data) — it stays on your device unless you explicitly sync.
Identifiers used to track you across other apps.
